Frequently Asked Questions
+ Who runs the program?
In 1957, a group of Harvard students came together and invested in the model, “for students, by students". Since then, this small group of undergrads has grown from makeshift businesses out of their dorm rooms to Harvard Student Agencies (HSA), the largest student-run company in the world. (yes, we were pre-Mark Zuckerberg!). Today, HSA is the largest employer of students on Harvard's campus.
HSA Tutoring is a non-profit division of Harvard Student Agencies, and our mission is to provide high-quality tutoring to students in the Boston area and beyond at the most affordable prices. Our core service is private tutoring for any standardized test (SAT, ACT, AP, IB, SAT II, etc) or academic subject, provided in-person or online. We also provide small group courses in ACT and SAT prep, personalized college essay prep, and pre-professional programs for high school students held at Harvard.
All of our tutors are current Harvard students and all profits go straight back into student wages, so you know where your money is going, always.

Harvard Student Agencies is one of the student organizations on the Harvard campus.
